Shooting Star Enterprises will host two five-day, historical day camps for young ladies who will be entering the 3rd through 6th grades (about ages 8-12) in the upcoming school year. The event will be held from 9 a.m. through 2 p.m. each day at their facilities in Hitchcock, Oklahoma. The first session runs from June 26-30, 2006; and the second session runs from July 24-28, 2006. The goal: to immerse the young ladies in turn-of-the-century life by encouraging grace, manners, and creativity with a historical perspective. The event, "Oklahoma Girls- An Edwardian Day Camp", focuses on the years 1904-1907, which is perfect for girls who love the American Girls(r) Samantha Series™ or for those who are preparing for the statehood events in 2007.
